Meet a Hodger: Erin Rebmann

We’re adding another Erin to our team! Erin Rebmann is the newest member at Hodges, where she will serve as an account strategist for the Virginia Spirits Board Marketing Office team.

Erin is a seasoned creative leader with expertise spanning brand strategy, graphic design, marketing, UX/UI and web design. For more than a decade, she has partnered with organizations and brands to craft digital experiences that are both visually compelling and strategically effective. She was previously with our neighbors at Brandito, and before finding herself in the MarComm world, she was an early childhood educator.

Erin is a mother of two, and in her spare time (she has that as a mom of two?!), she is the president of the Advertising Club of Richmond. In case you haven’t yet, please meet Erin!

What advice do you have for young people who want to get into public relations?

Follow your passion. If it isn’t right, try something new.

What are the biggest misperceptions about working in public relations?

People think that a brand means they can sell themselves. It takes so much more work to continue elevating a brand. You can’t create it and leave it. It must evolve.

What celebrity do people say you look like?

Sinead O’Connor

What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?

I shaved my head in 2006 for cancer awareness.

Where do you get your news?

I get my news from social media, mostly Instagram and Facebook. Social media is obviously “never wrong.”
