Live on Coast Live: Our Recent Media Relations Hits for Motorcycle Law Group

Media relations is just one of the many of the core competencies at Hodges and, on a personal level, an area  I’ve really grown to enjoy.

One of the clients I’ve had a chance to help earn media placements for recently is Motorcycle Law Group (MLG), a personal injury law firm specializing in motorcycle accident cases. The firm’s partners and attorneys are licensed to practice along the east coast in Va., W.Va., N.C., S.C. and Ga. From local, regional and trade media relations (read: A Marketers Secret Weapon: Trade Publication), we’ve seen success showcasing MLG’s attorneys as industry experts, both in the courtroom and on the road, and in each of their target areas.

Some regular hits include monthly contributed articles to a few different motorcycle trade publications where an attorney offers tips, information and insights about the legalities surrounding motorcycle-related topics. Some of these publications target specific states while others focus on the entire Mid-Atlantic. A recent placement includes MLG’s March contribution in Born to Ride GA, Need to Know: Motor Vehicle Insurance for Motorcyclists.

Recently, we took a trip to Norfolk to join one attorney in particular, Liz Sorrell who appeared on a live segment on Coast Live, Norfolk’s lifestyle and news program on WTKR, CBS 3.

Liz talked about motorcycle safety tips, shared some of her favorite local rides and even brought her Harley on set. View the full clip here: Enjoy the ride.

Media relations, the Earned component of our EOP Model, is a great way to earn third-party credibility and engage directly with your target audience. If you’d like to learn more, download our eBook below.
