Vice President, Media Relations
A former print journalist, Sean joined The Hodges Partnership in 2003 and leads Hodges’ media relations team. He manages media relations strategy and helps place client subject matter experts on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and more. Sean regularly helps place op-eds in top-tier papers like the New York Times, Washington Post and USA Today. His relationships with top-tier broadcast and print outlets run far and deep, and you’ll find him active on Twitter. He has a little-known talent of flipping household items and catching them right-side up, which we think is an apt metaphor for his media relations skills.
Sean is head baseball coach for Benedictine College Prep and co-founder/editor of CollegeBaseballInsider.com. He serves on the board of Commonwealth Community Trust and was a former board member and chair of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond (DSAGR) and the Salvation Army Central Virginia Area Command. He was honored by Style Weekly as one of Richmond’s “Top 40 Under 40” in 2011. A graduate of the University of Richmond where he played baseball and majored in journalism, Sean and his wife and three children live in Richmond’s Far West End.
