Presenting Social Media

social mediaOver the last few months I have found myself being asked to and then making presentations to various groups about social media.  These are ranging from new business pitches, to general social media 101 presentations, to specific talks tailored to specific audiences.  For example, I’ll be talking to a group of C-level execs of Richmond-area non-profit organizations later this month.

The talks usually include:

  1.  An overview of social media
  2.  History to date
  3. Social media goals and approaches (transparency, authenticity)
  4. Current demographic information
  5. Platforms and tactics
  6. Reputation management/Customer service
  7. Philosophies and peaks into the future

So here are my questions.  What am I missing?  What would you like to see in such a presentation?  What resources are there to continuously freshen this up.

As usual, please comment and all help is appreciated.
