Our Southern Sweet Spot

One mint julep.I often joke that the reason we don’t “specialize” in a certain practice area at THP is because I have adult ADD and I just can’t concentrate on one thing. And while there may be more truth to that than I’d like to admit, we are getting slightly more selective about our clients.

Specifically in the area of what we’d like to call “Southern Luxury.” That means products, food, fashion, etc., located in or with roots in the south. Clients over the last few years that have fit that bill are Ledbury, Saddleback Leather, Reginald’s Homemade, Stitch Golf and Salty Grips.

For some reason we do some great work for these clients. Maybe it’s because we have great media contacts in outlets they want to be seen in, maybe because we’ve come to be friends with the people behind the products, or maybe because the products and their stories are just really damn good.

Such is the case of Collared Greens, our men’s clothing client. We’ve done some great work for them. As a result we’re elevating the Collared Greens case study to the front page of our web site. That’s a big deal at Hodges, especially since it’s knocked the work we’ve done for my alma mater out of our front page.

So please take a look at the Collared Greens case study. You’ll see why we have this sweet spot for the south.
