Julia loves promoting brands she believes in and flexes her media relations muscles on accounts like Virginia Distillery Company and Elephant Insurance. Prior to joining Hodges, she worked for Golden Word helping beverage and lifestyle clients achieve their PR goals. A graduate of VCU’s Robertson School of Media and Culture, where she received the school’s PR Faculty Award, Julia spent her college years at Madewell solving one of women’s biggest problems–jean shopping. A consummate news junkie, she gets her fix regularly from The New York Times and The Skimm. Julia currently lives in Richmond’s West End with her husband Colin and their dog, @rowdy_jameson_loudy. When she’s not stalking reporters for that next placement, you can find her sweating it out in a spin class or testing out the newest beauty product.
