Jack Gorman

A seasoned public relations and government relations professional, Jack recently relocated to Virginia after a successful stint as the Executive Director/CEO of the Amador Vintners Association (AVA) where he represented the interests of more than 70 wineries, growers and affiliate members for more than four years. He brings his wine expertise to the team where he is dedicated full time to the Virginia Spirits Board. Prior to his AVA service, Jack was the General Manager of California-based Scott Harvey Wines where he directed all internal operations as well as assumed a leadership role in promoting the Amador wine region.
He has chaired regional marketing committees, led a successful rebranding program, developed concepts for a monthly television segment and played an integral role in planning and managing four large-scale regional events. Jack’s government relations experience also is extensive, including a post with Virginia State Senator Jennifer B. Boysko and serving as Deputy Director and Special Advisor to the Governor of California in Washington, D.C. Jack is a graduate of the University of California at Davis, receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science – Public Service.
