Storytelling for unsung heroes

We have to be honest: while we love all of our accounts, our nonprofit clients hold a special place in our hearts. That’s likely because we can see the difference that we are making in helping support their mission. By helping tell their stories – and by increasing the depth and reach of the audiences that are hearing those stories – we help to empower their work. Our strategic storytelling often leads to greater donations, a clearer understanding of underlying issues and timely momentum behind policy changes that can make their work more effective. Nonprofits can truly bring out the best in public relations.

Our diverse work with nonprofits is reflected in the strategic diversity of our approach in supporting them, largely through media relationspublic relationssocial media and content marketing. We’ve also regularly peel back the onion on their operations, helping nonprofit organizations like the Ronald McDonald House Foundation, ChildFund International and the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank develop communications strategies that more effectively support their work. And we’re especially proud of our media relations work for our nonprofit clients, having placed scores of op-eds in print outlets and secured timely stories in such national outlets as diverse as NBC’s TODAY Show, The New York Times, WIRED Magazine and The Weather Channel.
